School Children in a serious vehicle crash in
Multiple scholars have sustained injuries following a serious single vehicle crash on Stanmore Drive in the Phoenix area on Wednesday afternoon.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services were immediately dispatched to the scene, where medics were met with multiple children who had sustained various injuries following the crash.
Due to the number of patients and the nature of their injuries, KZN VIP Advanced Life Support paramedics were summoned to assist with the treatment of the more seriously injured children.
The injured scholars were assessed, treated and stabilised on scene before being transported to appropriate medical facilities for further medical care.
All relevant emergency services were in attendance.
The circumstances leading up to the crash cannot be confirmed at this stage.
