Attempted Kidnapping Of Fifteen-Year-Old Girl: Grangetown – KZN
A fifteen (15) year old girl fled an alleged attempted kidnapping while walking in the vicinity of a secondary school in Grangetown – KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
The teenager was on her way to a nearby premises to receive tuition when an unknown male driving a white vehicle stopped alongside her. The man approached the girl and complimented her.
Three (3) additional males then approached the teenager, while the first suspect allegedly grabbed her. The girl managed to break free and fled the scene.
The suspects immediately drove off after noticing onlookers in the vicinity.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) despatched Paramedics to attend to the visibly shaken teenager, while Reaction Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area for the suspects.
Due to her emotional state following the incident, the teenager was initially unable to provide further details regarding the vehicle.
