Suspect arrested for the theft of fuel

Incident Report:
On 12 August 2026, information was received regarding a grey Volkswagen T-Roc allegedly involved in theft out of motor vehicle incidents. The theft out of motor vehicle incident occurred earlier that morning at Sasol Nina Park, Pretoria North.
Proshield Security members proceeded to search for the vehicle and subsequently located it on Eskia Mphahlele Drive, Mayville. The vehicle was followed until it entered the Engen filling station at Mayville Mall, where a stop was effected.
Three male suspects were found inside the vehicle. Upon inspection, a brown leather bag containing suspected stolen items was found. The suspects were arrested and handed over to the SAPS for further investigation.
