Watch: EFF leader Julius Malema wants Zimbabwe billed

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has called for the Zimbabwean government to be billed for the costs associated with the influx of Zimbabwean nationals into South Africa.

The Zimbabwean government must be billed for the people who are coming here because they are failing to provide for their own people.

Malema made these remarks during a recent public address, arguing that the South African state is bearing the financial burden of providing services to foreign nationals due to the economic and political instability in neighboring Zimbabwe.

He emphasized that the responsibility for the welfare of Zimbabwean citizens lies with their own government, and suggested that South Africa should seek compensation for the strain placed on its public infrastructure and social services.
