State to add more charges against Carrim

Sowetan has been reliably informed that controversial businessman Suliman Carrim will face fresh charges in the Musina magistrate’s court relating to alleged attempted smuggling of vehicles.

“He will face two counts relating to alleged motor vehicle theft,” a reliable source told Sowetan.

Carrim was arrested on October 15 at OR Tambo International Airport as he was trying to board an international flight.

Questions have been put to a police spokesperson and the story will be updated once responses have been received.
