Shots Fired During School Tuck Shop Robbery: Trenance Park – KZN
Two (2) shots were fired during a robbery at a tuck shop situated on school premises in Trenance Park – KZN today (Tuesday, 18/08/2026).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received multiple calls for assistance. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived at approximately 14:07.
It was established that three (3) suspects armed with pistols confronted two (2) employees at the tuck shop. The victims were robbed of two (2) cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbers fired two (2) shots during the incident. Two (2) spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene.
The suspects fled in a white Toyota Tazz with an unknown registration and sped off in the direction of Inanda – KZN.
No injuries were reported.
