‘No-one can control us’: Malema clashes with Hill-Lewis during leadership debate
EFF leader Julius Malema has responded to allegations that his party is a “chaotic and corrupt” coalition partner, clashing with Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Geordin Hill-Lewis during a leadership debate organized by Arena Holdings.
During the debate, Malema rejected claims that the EFF is corrupt, asserting that since the party was founded, none of its members or leaders have been convicted or charged with corruption in connection with holding office. He challenged his opponents to provide evidence for their claims.
Hill-Lewis, in turn, accused the EFF of destabilizing coalitions and being involved in misconduct, leading to a heated exchange between the two political figures.
