Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has new representatives, and this could be seen as a strategic move ahead of the January transfer window.

If reports are to be believed, Ngcobo, who turns 27 next month, is unsettled at Naturena after limited game time this season. His contract with the Soweto club is set to expire at the end of June next year, raising doubts over his future at Naturena.

Lupus Sports, a FIFA-licensed agency, has signed up Ngcobo to their stable.

“Welcome to the family, Mshini. We look forward to the journey ahead,” said Lupus.

Lupus represents the likes of Sabah FC’s Aden McCarthy, Orlando Pirates right-back Kamogelo Sebelebele, Mamelodi Sundowns new signing Thabo Cele, and Cele’s teammate Bathusi Aubaas, to name just a few.

Ngcobo’s future would likely be a huge subject of interest in the next few months, considering previous reports that he almost exited Naturena during the last transfer window.

He’s been with the Chiefs first team since 2017, but his stats leave a lot to be desired.

The Pietermaritzburg-born attacking midfielder has played 129 matches for Amakhosi, registering eight goals and three assists over the years.
