Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi is expected back at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday to continue his bail application.

This follows last week’s postponement of his fourth bail application.

The case was postponed to allow the Department of Correctional Services to compile and submit a detailed report regarding new allegations against him, including an alleged plan to escape from the court holding cells.

Mogotsi is facing charges of defeating the ends of justice, relating to allegations that he staged his own attempted assassination in November last year.
