Postponements loading for Chiefs with next game to be moved

A series of changes could be lined up for Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their return to the CAF Confederation Cup for the second year in a row.
Chiefs are due to play Stellenbosch in their next league match on October 17 (15h00) at FNB Stadium.
Unfortunately, that game will have to make way for their continental commitments.
Chiefs’ opponents for the second qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup – Red Arrows – have confirmed that they will host the first leg on the same day – October 17.
That tie will be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
This is 330km away from Arrows’ traditional home at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka, which doesn’t meet the CAF requirements.
AmaKhosi will then host the second leg on the weekend of October 23/25 at a venue yet to be confirmed.
After that, Chiefs will then have to play their Carling KnockOut first round match on October 27 before the Soweto derby on October 31.
If they are through to the Carling KnockOut quarterfinals then they must play that match before the start of the November FIFA dates (November 9-17).

Should Chiefs then proceed to the group stages of the Confederation Cup again this season, then they have three group matches to play before Christmas.
This will affect the three away games against Chippa United (November 28), Milford (December 5), and Marumo Gallants (December 18).
