Mamkhize on her best ‘streets won’t forget’ behaviour
Aug 24, 2026 – 03:07 pm

After hosting an extravagant homecoming ceremony for her club, Mbabane Highlanders AM, Shauwn Mkhize and her side also unveiled refreshing new kits. Here’s a look!
In typical MamKhize fashion, the South African business tycoon led from the front as her side held a frenzy-filled homecoming ceremony in Eswatini to kick-start their new campaign.
The streets were quickly filled with a celebratory atmosphere, as Highlanders AM fans swarmed the roads, waving and ululating, while convoys of cars and buses paraded through the streets.
The club also used the event to launch their brand-new kits, including the return of the club’s traditional black and white strip.
Highlanders AM fans have been calling for the return of their traditional colours, a call MamKhize heeded.
“We are happy to unveil the three kits that we will use in the upcoming season. We have also reintroduced the black and white kit, which will unite us, as I like a united family,” Mkhize said, according to the Times of Eswatini.
The club added in a statement: “After a one-year hiatus, the traditional black and white returns.
“Not simply as colours, but as a statement of who we are; our heritage, our identity, our pride.
“For 2026/27, we return to the roots that built us, wearing the colours that have carried generations before us.”
