The sister of brutally murdered pharmacy owner Nomzila Madinane says her sister had been receiving threats from her ex-boyfriend even after they broke up last year.
She alleged that both the ex-boyfriend and his brother continued threatening Nomzila, forcing her to hire someone to protect her. The family says she also reported the matter to police before her death.
According to the sister, the attackers only took Nomzila’s cellphone and laptop, leaving all other valuables behind, raising suspicions that the murder may have been targeted rather than a robbery.
