A police constable has been murdered in Hammarsdale, allegedly by her partner who is also an SAPS member.
She was on leave and at the man’s house in the Mpumalanga township at the time.
The boyfriend was taken to hospital with an abdominal injury, the cause of which is not clear yet.
Although the motive is unknown, the SAPS says domestic-related violence is a possibility.
The alleged killer is a sergeant from the Crime Intelligence division.
