Find out how MySol fired back at Malema after EFF rally jibe
Mining magnate Solomon “MySol” Madibela has hit back at EFF leader Julius Malema following a public attack at a rally in the North West.
During an EFF rally at Letlhabile Stadium, Malema took aim at the businessman, labeling him a “small boy” and insisting that the country’s mineral wealth must benefit ordinary people rather than individuals like Madibela.
These mines will service our people… These mines will not service MySol. MySol se foot. I will repeat, MySol se foot. You must tell him that he’s a small boy to me.
Madibela, who does not use traditional social media, responded to the remarks via WhatsApp status updates, which were subsequently screenshotted and circulated online. In his response, he suggested that Malema is the one who needs to work harder and build strength, dismissing the EFF leader’s rhetoric.
The feud has drawn the attention of ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula, who pledged to intervene and reach out to Malema to seek an amicable resolution, while also defending Madibela as a “solid entrepreneur.”
