Electronics Stolen In Suspected Remote Jamming Incident: Verulam – KZN

A Blackview tablet and a Samsung Note 10 cellphone were stolen from a blue Renault Kiger parked outside a fast food outlet in Verulam – KZN today (Tuesday, 29 September 2026).

The vehicle owner contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after discovering the theft. He explained that he had parked his vehicle and locked it using his remote. Upon his return, he discovered that the items were missing from the vehicle.

There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, leading to the suspicion that remote jamming was used to prevent the vehicle from locking.
