EFF launches KZN manifesto in Inanda as IFP heads for KwaMashu

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are set to hold their KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) provincial manifesto launch at the JL Dube Stadium in Inanda on Saturday, 19 September 2026.

The event, which is expected to draw significant crowds, comes amidst heightened tensions in the area following recent clashes between EFF supporters and those of media personality Ngizwe Mchunu.

While the EFF prepares for its rally in Inanda, the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) is simultaneously conducting its own political activities in the nearby township of KwaMashu, as parties ramp up their campaigns ahead of the upcoming local government elections.

The EFF has vowed to proceed with its manifesto launch despite the security concerns and confrontations that have occurred in the lead-up to the event.
