Cape Town City sensation Emile Witbooi could be on the verge of a move to Europe in this transfer window following the latest offer by a club from Poland, KickOff understands.
Witbooi is one of the highly-rated youngsters still in the country, even after having had trials with English Premier League giants Chelsea.

After returning from The Blues’ assessment, he quietly went back to Cape Town City, where he was one of their key players for 2025/26 as the side finished second in the Motsepe Foundation Championship but could not get promotion back to the Betway Premiership through the play-offs.
The skillful attacker was always going to continue to attract attention after he was named the Motsepe Foundation Championship Player of the Season last Zabrze.
KickOff has it on good authority that GórnikZabrze will make an improved offer that exceeds €900 000 (R16,7 million) for the services of the 17-year-old, after their previous offer of €800, 000 (R15 million) was rejected by City.
Club chairman John Comitis has made it clear publicly that the club values the teenage wonderkid at €1 million (R18,6 million).
Now, and this website understands the City are holding out for at least exactly that figure in their negotiations with the Polish side, who are currently in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-offs against Monaco (trailing 3-2 from the first-leg).
Witbooi is understood to be excited by the opportunity and feels the timing could be right for him to move abroad.
