Another woman’s body found in Ekurhuleni

A woman’s body has been found on the side of the road in KwaThema, Springs, in Ekurhuleni.

KwaThema is about 45km from Kempton Park, where the bodies of four women were found over two months. The body was found naked and in a decomposed state.

A fifth body was discovered in Olifantsfontein on Monday.

Police confirmed on Monday that most of the victims in the Kempton Park killings had been sexually assaulted.

Investigators are working to establish the circumstances surrounding each death and whether the cases are connected.
