Woman Shot During Attempted Hijacking: Terrance Park – KZN
A resident was injured during an attempted hijacking in Terrance Park, KwaZulu-Natal, today (Tuesday, 15/09/2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 08:53 after the Operations Centre received multiple calls for assistance.
On arrival, it was established that five (5) suspects armed with handguns attempted to hijack a motorist’s red Mazda CX-5. The suspects opened fire before they were disturbed by the motorist’s relative.
One (1) bullet penetrated a second vehicle and a fragment of the projectile struck the resident in the palm of her left hand as she exited the house to investigate the commotion. The suspects fled in a grey Audi A3 in an unknown direction.
Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and treated the injured resident.
