Lekompo musician, Lehlogonolo Chauke, popularly known as ‘Shebe Maburna’, is expected to be cross-examined when this bail hearing resumes in the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court in Limpopo this Wednesday morning.

Chauke will face questioning from state prosecutor Advocate Kgaugelo Lekoloane.

He faces several charges, including attempted murder and assault.

Maburna had his testimony adjourned as his lawyer had called a ballistic expert, Jan de Klerk, to testify.

De Klerk’s testimony focused on the manner in which police took the pictures of the vehicle allegedly used by Maburna on the day of the shooting incident in Ladanna, Polokwane, in October last year.
