Julius Malema takes swipe at Helen Zille over ‘Gusheshe’ spinning

EFF leader Julius Malema has taken a swipe at DA mayoral candidate Helen Zille after she arrived at a Johannesburg election rally in a “Gusheshe”.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader questioned how drifting stunts and rally theatrics contribute to improving the lives of ordinary South Africans.

The media is celebrating a person who spins BMWs, and then you think that thing has got anything to do with improving the lives of our people?

Malema’s comments follow Zille’s recent campaign activities, which included a video of her spinning a BMW 325i, a car affectionately known as the “Gusheshe” in South African car culture.
