The worst fears around Khuliso Mudau’s injury have been confirmed after he was stretchered out on Wednesday.

Mudau is into his seventh season at Sundowns and, throughout that time, has risen to become an influential player for both his club and Bafana Bafana.

Miguel Cardoso, the Tshwane giant’s head coach, has confirmed the latest developments relating to Mudau rupturing his Achilles Tendon.

This means he will only be back available for selection again in March.
