Five suspects, including members of SAPS, EMPD and a private citizen

Five suspects, including members of SAPS, EMPD and a private citizen, have been arrested by IPID for the murder of Emmanuel Mbense in April 2022.

They face charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice, and are expected to appear in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Mbense’s body was found at Spaarwater Dam a day after a police raid on his home.
