A man was fatally stabbed during a fight with his elderly friend in Gunge village.
The two men were reportedly drinking alcohol together when an argument broke out and escalated into a physical fight. During the confrontation, the elderly man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed his friend, who later died from his injuries.
Following the fatal stabbing, the elderly man reportedly admitted to stabbing his friend. Angry community members then allegedly took matters into their own hands, attacking him with sticks and stones instead of allowing the matter to be handled by police.
No arrests have reportedly been made at this stage
