A possible reunion between TS Galaxy and Adnan Beganovic has gathered further momentum, with sources confirming that contact has now been made between the club and the former Rockets coach.

As reported by Soccer Laduma last week, Beganovic had emerged as a possible option for Galaxy should the club decide to make changes to its technical team following the FIFA international break.

At the time, there had been no formal approach for the Bosnian coach, although his good relationship with chairman Tim Sukazi and their continued communication meant that a return could not be ruled out.

The Siya crew has now been informed that contact has been made, with discussions understood to be taking place over a possible reunion.

A source close to the situation indicated that Beganovic is open to the possibility of returning to the club, although the outcome will depend on how the talks progress.

“Contact has been made and they are talking. It is still early, so it will depend on how the discussions go, but a reunion is looking possible at this stage,” a source told the Siya crew.

Beganovic remains familiar with the club, having left Galaxy in April before Bernard Parker took over as head coach. The former Bafana Bafana striker subsequently guided the Rockets to safety and was backed to continue in charge for the 2026/27 campaign.

However, after seven matches of the new season, Parker’s position has come under scrutiny, with Galaxy understood to be considering changes to the technical team after the international break. Parker is expected to move into another role within the technical structure should a coaching change be made.

Beganovic, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, had been linked with Richards Bay FC before the KwaZulu-Natal club appointed Dimitar Pantev. He is also understood to have other options available as he considers his next move.

However, his existing relationship with Galaxy and Sukazi could now work in favour of a return, with talks between the parties understood to be ongoing — leaving the door ajar for a familiar face to make his way back to the Rockets.
