Ngizwe Mchunu Confirms Bhinca Festival Cancellation Amidst EFF Clash Claims

Media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has officially addressed the recent tensions surrounding his planned Bhinca festival, confirming the cancellation of the event following a violent confrontation with Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters in Inanda.

The situation escalated significantly when Mchunu alleged that members of his security team were forced to discharge an AK-47 into the air after identifying firearms among the opposing group during a venue inspection.

Despite initial insistence that the event would proceed as planned, the security risks and the subsequent police intervention have led to the decision to call off the festival to prevent further escalation between the two factions.
