Eswatini Club Confirms Deal For Ex-Chiefs Midfielder
Mbabane Black Eagles are edging closer to finalizing a deal for former Kaizer Chiefs, Baroka and Black Leopards midfielder, Siphelele Ntshangase.
Soccer Laduma spoke to Black Eagles boss Chief Ally Kgomongwe, who explained why they haven’t announced Ntshangase yet.
“Basically, he was playing for a team in the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League and we are trying to secure his clearance. Besides that, he’ll have a two-year deal with us,” said Kgomongwe.
Affectionately known as “Stash”, the 33-year-old Ntshangase was in the books of Sunrise FC.
“He has written to the club in Limpopo (Sunrise) to request his clearance and once that is done, he’ll be our player. I don’t think there’s an issue there,” confirmed Kgomongwe.
Kgomongwe, who’s a South African businessman, admitted that he’s looking out for his own countrymen in the twilights of their careers.
“I don’t want to see them to become redundant. That’s why in the past I had the likes of Thamsanqa Sangweni and Punch Masenamela.
“I think the EPL (Eswatini Premier League) is a better league than the third tier at home. I mean, the EPL is a professional set up,” he added.
