Kenny Kunene claims Julius Malema had close ties with notorious taxi boss Mswazi and KT Molefe

Patriotic Alliance deputy president Kenny Kunene has levelled serious allegations against EFF leader Julius Malema, claiming that the opposition leader maintained a close and ongoing relationship with the late taxi boss Jotham “Mswazi” Msibi and murder-accused businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe.

If this generally corrupt relationship alleged by Kenny Kunene between Julius Malema and the late taxi boss Mswazi (Msibi) is proved, then Julius Malema is politically toast.

The allegations, which have sparked significant public and social media debate, suggest that Malema engaged in frequent visits to Msibi’s farm and allegedly provided gifts, including cash and whisky. These claims formed the basis of a heated legal battle, with Malema launching a defamation lawsuit against Kunene, which was later struck from the court roll.

Evidence presented in various commissions and court proceedings has highlighted the alleged involvement of Msibi and Molefe in the “Big Five” cartel, a syndicate linked to illicit activities. Kunene’s legal team has argued that these associations point to a deeper, compromised relationship between the EFF leader and figures involved in organized crime.
