WATCH LIVE: Ramaphosa to address nation on Covid-19
President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation on Monday evening on the country’s Covid-19 response.
It will be the second time in two weeks the president will speak to the country.
Last month, Ramaphosa eased some of the remaining lockdown regulations.
This included dropping the mask mandate for outdoor settings, as well as allowing fans back at sporting events.
He’s now expected to replace the country’s Covid response policy from the Disaster Management Act to the National Health Act.
Ramaphosa is expected to take to the podium at 8pm.
