Watch As Hijacker Finally Meets his match
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Community Liaison Unit (CLU), in conjunction with the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Intelligence Unit, conducted an intelligence-driven operation, which resulted in the arrest of a suspect, linked to a hijacking incident in Kwa-Thema.
Officers received information regarding the whereabouts of a wanted suspect, who was involved in the hijacking/robbing of a black Mercedes-Benz, on Ntshengu Street.
Acting on the information received, Officers proceeded to Thwala Street where they located and subsequently arrested the suspect, in connection with the hijacking of a motor vehicle.
The thirty-four-year-old (34) suspect, was detained at the Kwa-Thema Police Station and is expected, to appear before the Springs Magistrate’s Court soon.
