Tim Sukazi checks in on Bafana stars abroad

TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi spent time abroad this week, visiting the United States, and got to link up with Mbekezeli Mbokazi. Here’s a look.

The Rockets boss was in the state of Illinois this week, where he even got to watch live action between Chicago Fire and Inter Miami.

The fixture certainly delivered in terms of big names. Brazil star Casemiro, Uruguay legend Luis Suarez, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, and arguably the greatest footballer of all time, Lionel Messi, all graced the pitch as Sukazi watched.

However, despite all the big stars on the pitch, perhaps the one closest to Sukazi’s heart or of most interest to him was Puso Dithejane.

Dithejane was introduced in the second half of the game, with Sukazi seeing the 22-year-old play live for the first time in quite a while.

Dithejane was a key man for Galaxy before joining Chicago Fire at the beginning of the year, and Sukazi has spoken several times publicly about his admiration for the player.

Off the pitch, though, Sukazi got to meet Mbokazi, who remains sidelined after his recent return to training while recovering from a muscle injury.

Sukazi even hinted that the 20-year-old defender is almost back to his usual shape, writing on X: “He’s good, ready and strong.”
