Suspects linked to railway cable theft arrested, Hartbeespoort

Four suspects, believed to be linked to a cable and railway theft syndicate, were arrested in Hartbeespoort on Friday after security officers tracked their vehicle and coordinated an interception.

The three men and a woman, all Zimbabwean nationals, were intercepted on the R511 at Meerhof by SDS and Afrique du Sud (ADS) K9 security officers. They are suspected of being linked to railway infrastructure and cable theft in Rustenburg.
