Starting XI: Sundowns v Al Ahli
African champions Mamelodi Sundowns take on Asian champions Al Ahli in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The Intercontinental Cup started in 2024 and it features the reigning domestic champions of the six FIFA confederations.
Sundowns secured their spot in the tournament after claiming the CAF Champions League title last campaign.
Each clash is a one-off tie, although European champions Paris Saint-Germain have been given a bye in the first round.
Miguel Cardoso’s charges have been given the week to prepare for the clash, as they come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Chippa United last weekend.
Al Ahli, meanwhile, have started their Saudi Pro League season with four wins from their opening seven fixtures.
