Shadrack Sibiya Back in Court to Apply for Bail
Suspended deputy national commissioner for Crime Detection Shadrack Sibiya is back in court on Tuesday for a formal bail application.
The 59-year-old faces five charges including rape, trafficking in persons and the sexual grooming of a child.
According to the charge sheet, Sibiya took a woman and her friends to a strip club and a hotel in Sandton in May 2026.
