South African star Thembi Kgatlana netted an incredible four goals in one match for Mexican outfit Club Tigres Femenil. Here’s a look!

Kgatlana is currently in sublime form for club and country, having now netted nine goals in her last six appearances for Club Tigres and Banyana Banyana.

In the early hours of today, the South African striker inspired her side to a 7-2 win over Toluca Women as she scored four times, earning a 10/10 rating from Flashscore.

This fantastic form should raise some optimism for South Africans, as the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Play-Off Tournament is on the horizon.

Banyana will be one of the sides competing at the tournament, with the hope of earning a spot at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, which runs from 24 June to 25 July next year.

Kgatlana and her national team side missed out on direct qualification for the tournament after Banyana were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

She will be hoping to carry that prolific form into the play-off tournament, where they already know they will face in the form of Chinese Taipei, Ecuador, and Uzbekistan in the Preliminary Phase.
