Royal Bafokeng To Host Chiefs

Soweto side Kaizer Chiefs will take a couple of their home games to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the coming months.

The Glamour Boys recently played at the Rustenburg venue when they hosted Zimbabwean side Scottland in the Toyota Cup on 26 July.

According to the PSL’s website, Chiefs will host Siwelele FC at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, 5 September, in a league clash.

Fernando Da Cruz’s men will return to the 2010 World Cup venue later in the year when they welcome TS Galaxy, also a league outing—on Tuesday, 15 December.

Chiefs will also take one league game to Limpopo, where they will entertain Chippa United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in the new year. The match against the Chilli Boys will take place on Saturday, 23 January 2027.

The rest of Amakhosi’s home matches will be played at the FNB Stadium, according to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) website.

Chiefs are yet to issue an update on their plans to play in the North West and Limpopo. However, the matches have been updated by the league.
