Orlando Pirates are among 19 clubs across the globe leading adidas’ new 2026/27 kit campaign. Here’s a look.

The Buccaneers are one of the leading clubs under the adidas banner, joining giants such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Not only that, but they are the only African team to be featured in the German sportswear giant’s new campaign.

The Three Stripes label unveiled a striking group image across its social media platforms, accompanied by the tagline, “we are so back – new season, new chaos, same love for the game.”

Bafana Bafana midfielder Thalente Mbatha was featured in the promotional material, where he is seen alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham, Lionel Messi and Luis Diaz.

The extensive line-up also includes stars from clubs such as AS Roma, Aston Villa, Ajax, Benfica, Lyon, Fenerbahce, Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate and Club América.

The campaign provides a first look at the wide range of designs adidas have produced for the 2026/27 season, incorporating traditional club colours alongside distinctive patterns and the brand’s latest kit templates.
