Orlando Pirates supporter Ndlelenhle Nkosi has backed Zambian midfielder Gamphani Lungu as the Buccaneers. As the MTN8 Wafa Wafa heats up, one fan’s voice is ringing clear: Gamphani Lungu is the signing that matters most at Orlando Pirates this season.

Nkosi has named Gamphani Lungu as the Buccaneers’ standout signing ahead of the MTN8 Wafa Wafa.

Lungu arrived at the Buccaneers from Siwelele FC during the off-season, bringing with him years of Betway Premiership experience and a reputation as a high-rated forward. For supporter Ndlelenhle Nkosi, that combination is exactly what sets the 27-year-old apart from the rest of the new arrivals.

The Zambian has wasted no time justifying the Pirates supporters. Lungu announced his arrival with a dramatic last-gasp winner off the bench in the MTN8 quarter-final against Durban City, sending Pirates through to the semi-finals as they chase a fifth consecutive MTN8 crown.

For Nkosi and a growing number of Pirates faithful, the verdict is already in — Lungu is the signing of the season.
