Pirates coach: We don’t live on previous results

Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has braced his side for an intense tactical clash against Sekhukhune United, warning that their upcoming league opponents will present a completely different challenge.
The two teams are set for a high-stakes second meeting in just a matter of days, following their explosive MTN8 clash.
The Buccaneers emerged victorious in that recent MTN8 first-leg semi-final encounter, securing a hard-fought 1-0 win courtesy of a decisive first-half strike by Deon Hotto at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

What Ncikazi said about facing Sekhukhune for the second time
The stage is now set for a thrilling rematch on Tuesday evening at the Orlando Amstel Arena in Soweto, with kick-off scheduled for 19:30.
Ncikazi has warned, though his team should not dwell on their weekend victory and instead take lessons ahead of the two teams’ second meeting.
“We respect what happened in the previous match,” Ncikazi told the club’s media.
“We appreciate the result, but we don’t live on previous results. It will be an interesting match tactically, having the same opponent two or three times in one week.
“We take the lessons from the previous match and try to concentrate on our performance and improve. If we do that, we are going to get a positive outcome on Tuesday.”

Additionally, the Sea Robbers’ tactical plans have been dealt somewhat of a blow following the sudden departure of a key talisman.
Pirates will be without the services of star midfielder Patrick “Tito” Maswanganyi, who has completed a shock move away from the club to join Bahraini Premier League side Alkhaldiya Sports Club.
Maswangwanyi’s unexpected exit leaves a massive void in the Buccaneers’ engine room, forcing Ncikazi and head coach Jose Riveiro to reshuffle their starting line-up for this crucial midweek showdown.
