“Yeah, look, it’s always good to be in an environment where you enjoy yourself and the players as well. That self-belief that things can go our way. So far, so good. We just need to continue where we left off. We need to keep on grinding the results because these games, when they come, they come pretty fast. So you’ve got to be ready for each and every game that you come across,” he told the media at the Carling Knockout draw.
The numbers support Zwane’s positive assessment.According to FotMob, AmaZulu, who occupy third spot on the Betway Premiership standings, boast the league’s top goal scorer in Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, who has found the net eight times. Nkosikhona Radebe shares the joint-most assists accolade with four to his name, demonstrating the team’s creative prowess in the final third.
Defensively, Usuthu have shown resilience with four clean sheets, placing them third in that category, while their 12.0 interceptions per match ranks second across the division. Athini Maqokola has created 50 big chances, further evidence of AmaZulu’s attacking intent. The team sits third in chances created per match with 30.5, underlining their dominance in possession and offensive transitions.Check Out: What Dolly Told Samkelo Zwane At Hope FC
