Mandela is no more: Malema takes aim at ANC, MK Party in KZN

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has launched a scathing attack on both the African National Congress (ANC) and the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party during a recent rally in KwaZulu-Natal, declaring that the era of Nelson Mandela’s influence within the ruling party has effectively ended.

Mandela is no more, and those who think they are carrying his legacy in the ANC are merely ghosts of a past that no longer serves the people of this country.

Malema addressed a crowd of supporters, positioning his party as the only viable alternative to what he described as the corruption and stagnation of the ANC. He further criticized the MK Party, led by former president Jacob Zuma, suggesting that it lacks a coherent ideological foundation and is merely a vehicle for personal grievances.

The EFF leader emphasized that KwaZulu-Natal remains a critical battleground for his party, dismissing claims that the province is a ‘no-go area’ for the EFF. He urged his followers to remain steadfast in their commitment to the party’s radical economic transformation agenda, despite the political volatility in the region.
