Learner Struck By Bakkie: Verulam – KZN
A learner was injured after being struck by a white Isuzu bakkie at the four-way junction of Russom Street and Moss Street in Verulam – KZN this morning (Friday, 28/08/2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene at approximately 07:20. It was established that the learner was crossing the road when she was struck by the light motor vehicle.
The driver stated that he had not noticed the pedestrian crossing the road. The female sustained an injury to her left arm.
She was stabilised on scene by Paramedics before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
