Kenny Kunene claims Julius Malema had close ties with notorious taxi boss Mswazi and KT Molefe

Patriotic Alliance (PA) deputy president Kenny Kunene has levelled serious allegations against Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, claiming that the latter maintained close and ongoing ties with the late notorious taxi boss Jotham “Mswazi” Msibi and KT Molefe.

He is being sued for saying I am at the centre of a cartel, implying that I am part of the ‘Big Five’ drug cartel.

Kunene’s claims, which have become the subject of legal disputes, suggest that Malema’s interactions with these figures extended beyond professional boundaries. In court filings, Kunene alleged that Malema would leave businessman Adriano Mazzotti’s property at night to meet with Msibi, who was linked to the so-called “Big Five” cartel.

Rather, Kunene relies on the allegation as evidence of what he describes as a close and ongoing relationship between Malema and Msibi.

Malema has vehemently denied these allegations, arguing that they are defamatory and have damaged his reputation. He maintains that his interactions with individuals in the taxi industry were related to legitimate matters and not indicative of involvement in organized crime or tender corruption.
