Just in: Another Shop owner Shot & K!lled By Assassins
A tuck shop co- owner/ employee was shot and killed during an assassination disguised as armed robbery on Northcroft Drive in Phoenix – KZN tonight (Friday, 15/05/2026).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was dispatched to the scene at approximately 19:57 after residents contacted the Operations Centre requesting urgent assistance following reports of gunfire.
Reaction Officers arrived to find a 30-year-old Pakistani national lying inside the business premises with a gunshot wound to his chest. It is believed the employee was attending to the shop when armed robbers stormed the premises.
According to information, the assailants fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone before escaping on foot.
Paramedics from a private ambulance service arrived on scene and declared the man deceased.
