Julius Malema takes swipe at Helen Zille over ‘Gusheshe’ spinning

EFF leader Julius Malema has taken a swipe at DA mayoral candidate Helen Zille after she arrived at a Johannesburg election rally in a “Gusheshe”.

Helen Zille, 75, has released a campaign video showing her spinning a BMW 325i gusheshe. The stunt is the latest in a series of unconventional campaign actions ahead of the 4 November local government elections.

Other parties will spin you stories, we’ll spin into action.

Malema criticized the political focus on luxury cars like the BMW Gusheshe, while launching Tlaleng Mofokeng as the party’s mayoral candidate in Johannesburg.
