Homeowner Chases Alleged Intruder With Stick as Durban Break-In Attempt Ends in Dramatic Escape

A dramatic attempted home burglary in Durban has attracted widespread attention after CCTV footage allegedly captured a homeowner chasing a suspected intruder from his property while other suspects fled.
The incident occurred shortly before dawn when several individuals allegedly entered a residential property by climbing over the perimeter wall. The homeowner was awakened by unusual noises and confronted the suspected intruders.
The escaped suspects reportedly escaped with some valuable items
The CCTV footage reportedly shows one of the alleged intruders attempting to flee as the homeowner pursued him while carrying a large wooden stick. During the pursuit, the homeowner is seen striking the alleged intruder before the remaining suspects escaped by jumping over the boundary wall.
Facebook has since removed the video as it shows violence
