Ramaphosa says, “We are addressing the problem of water; that’s why we set up a national water crisis committee where we are bringing national government to come in and assist our metros, our municipalities and our provinces, and that is why I set up this national water crisis committee. We always knew because South Africa is a water-scarce country, now having set up that water crisis committee a lot of initiatives are underway both with dealing with bulk water availability as well as reticulation of water, ensuring that we repair the pipes, improve the infrastructure and maintain our infrastructure. So, on an overall basis, we are addressing the water challenge.”
