Five deceased after vehicle rolls – R612 Braemar, KZN South Coast
A short while ago IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a motor vehicle accident on the R612 near Braemar on the KZN South Coast.
On arrival paramedics were faced with a horrific scene. A light motor vehicle travelling on an adjacent road had rolled down an embankment and came to rest on the R612.
Five of the six occupants were ejected from the vehicle and sadly sustained fatal injuries. One occupant, a back seat passenger, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by EMRS.
The scene was handed over to SAPS for further investigation into the cause of the accident.
