EFF launches KZN manifesto in Inanda as IFP heads for KwaMashu

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is set to hold its KwaZulu-Natal provincial manifesto launch at the JL Dube Stadium in Inanda this Saturday. The event, which is expected to draw thousands of supporters, serves as a critical push for the party’s campaign in the province ahead of the upcoming local government elections.

Tensions have been reported in the area leading up to the rally, following confrontations between EFF supporters and followers of Ngizwe Mchunu. The EFF has alleged that Mchunu’s decision to host a music event in the same vicinity was a deliberate provocation.

The EFF believes Mchunu recently decided to stage his event in the same area as its rally to deliberately provoke the party.

As the EFF gathers in Inanda, other political parties are also intensifying their activities across the province, with the IFP scheduled to hold its own campaign events in KwaMashu. Security remains a priority as political activity heats up in the region.
