India’s Ministry of External Affairs has dismissed viral claims that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and other world leaders fell ill from food at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has officially labeled these reports as misleading and unverified. The ministry’s fact-checking unit warned the public against the rapid spread of misinformation regarding the health of prominent political figures.

Official sources have confirmed that the rumors are entirely baseless, urging citizens to rely on verified information from government channels rather than unconfirmed social media speculation.
